The reason for the alumni association’s existence.

Formerly located in the foothills of Vermont’s Green Mountains, Marlboro College provided independent thinkers with exceptional opportunities to broaden their intellectual horizons. This included the benefit of a small and close-knit community, opportunities to create strong frameworks for personal and career fulfillment, and encouragement to make a positive difference in the world. At the campus in Marlboro, Vermont, students engaged in deep exploration of their interests — and discovered new avenues for using their skills to benefit themselves and others. It was an atmosphere that emphasized critical and creative thinking, independence, social justice, sustainability, and community.
