Elli Ludwigson

Hi there! I'm a gardener and plant parent, lover of books (big surprise), hiker, walker, baker, and typically do paid work as a product marketing manager for tech companies. I'm also an incorrigible optimist and possible idealist. Marlboro College felt like a home from the first moment I saw the campus. I've learned not to take special places for granted, over and over, and that it takes significant work to preserve the connections to the places, spaces, and people even as they cease to coincide in physical space. My experience in marketing and tech as well as organizing in open source communities could be useful to the Alumni Council. I'd like to serve to keep communication channels open, accessible and clear, and to potentially collaborate with the Potash Hill organization to continue filling the campus with learning and connection. I'd like to know a bit more about what's currently in the MCAA backlog, but I think top priority might be getting a newsletter out on a regular cadence, perhaps consolidating some Facebook groups (just a thought!), and digesting more alumni survey data.
