Warm greetings from the Alumni Council! We hope this message finds you well.

For many of us, the continued presence of the college’s former campus in the news has infused the last few weeks with a feeling of uncertainty about the future of a place we love.

What isn’t uncertain is our commitment to building an Association to keep alumni connected to one another and to the ideals that animated Marlboro College. Right now, that means getting more alumni involved, and cultivating new spaces for connection and communication. We’re glad to introduce the members of two new committees.

The Potash Hill Committee has been tasked with re-founding and producing a publication for alumni and friends of the college under the auspices of the MCAA. Three MCAA volunteers, Johanna Hochfelder ‘79, Peter Hutchinson ‘74, and Dianna Noyes ‘80, will be heading up this committee. The Ad Hoc Committee on Facebook will consider the MCAA Facebook page as a space for alumni in need of a clearer community purpose. Two council members, Kate Hollander ‘02 and Mark Genszler ‘95, will join Allison Gammons ‘03, an MCAA volunteer, for this work.
