Candidates Announced!

Introducing the Candidates for Alumni Council

We are really pleased to have eleven worthy candidates running for five seats.

They are: Bar Clarke ‘89, Carrie Cleveland ‘02, Hanna Clutterbuck-Cook ‘02, Liz Crain ‘05, Franklin Crump ‘05, Allison Gammons ‘03, Emily Graves ‘04, Charlie Israel ‘05, Elli Ludwigson ‘09, Johnny Stiteler ‘04, and Jennie Tucker ‘67. Candidates were asked to provide a little information about themselves, their connection to Marlboro, and their vision for the MCAA and the council. (Please note: Allison Gammons was elected in 2022 to serve a one-year term finishing out the term of another council member who had resigned. That term is now up so she is eligible to run for a regular term.)

Ballot and Elections

The election will be open from November 12 through November 19. All Association members will receive an electronic ballot in their email. If you are receiving this message, you will get a ballot!

Results and Next Steps:

After voting has closed, we will tally the votes, verify the election, and notify the candidates of the results. Once the winning candidates have accepted their seats, the results will be announced to the association. Per the bylaws adopted by the association last year, this will be no later than December 1st.

Thanks so much to everyone who nominated a friend, considered running, or even “respectfully declined” and said hello in the process. (We’re still working on replying to all your messages!) And thanks especially to the eleven candidates, whose enthusiasm and dedication is so inspiring. Thanks also to association members Amy Tudor and Erik Olson for helping to get the candidate pages up on the MCAA website. We couldn’t do it without you.
